Editorial & Pricing Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Most menu sites publish a price table and never explain where the numbers came from. That's the reason so many of them are wrong. This page documents exactly how ours are produced, updated, and corrected.
1. Our editorial mission
To be the most accurate, most complete, and most honest unofficial reference for the Culver's menu — including being honest about what we don't know.
2. Where our prices come from
Prices on this Site are compiled from:
- Published menu boards at Culver's locations
- In-app pricing checked across multiple stores in different states
- Reader-submitted price reports through our contact form
- Publicly available menu listings cross-checked against the above
We aggregate across locations to produce a typical national figure, then round to the price format Culver's uses.
3. Why we publish ranges and approximations
Culver's is a franchise system. Individual owners set their own prices. Metro locations, airport locations, and highway plazas price differently from small-town stores.
This means no single accurate national price exists for any Culver's item. Anyone publishing one exact number and presenting it as authoritative is guessing.
Our approach:
- Where we have solid multi-location data, we publish a specific figure as a typical price
- Where our data is thinner, we mark the price "approx." so you know its confidence level is lower
- Where prices vary too widely to average usefully, we publish a range
- We never fill an empty cell with a number we made up
4. Calorie and nutrition data
Calorie counts come from Culver's published nutrition information for standard preparations at standard sizes. We do not calculate, estimate, or interpolate calorie figures ourselves.
Where a published figure isn't available, we leave the cell empty rather than guessing. A wrong calorie count is worse than no calorie count.
5. Our accuracy standards
Firm rules:
- No invented prices. If we can't source it, it's marked approximate or left blank.
- No invented calorie counts. Ever.
- No fake menu items. We don't publish "secret menu" items that don't exist.
- No claiming national availability for regional, seasonal, or test items — those are labelled.
- Opinion is labelled as opinion. When we say the Medium curds are enough for two people, that's our judgment, and we write it as one.
- No fake urgency or fake deals. We don't invent promotions or countdown pressure.
6. Update schedule
- Core price tables: reviewed quarterly, and immediately whenever we receive credible reports of a change
- Seasonal and limited-time items: reviewed as items enter and leave the menu
- Hours and locations: reviewed twice a year, and around major holidays
- Nutrition data: reviewed whenever Culver's publishes updated information
Every page carries a "last updated" date. If a page hasn't been touched in a while, that date tells you so honestly rather than hiding it.
7. Corrections
Reader corrections are our best source of price data. A single receipt from your local store is worth more than any amount of desk research.
To report an error: use our Contact page or email contact@culvers-menu.us. Useful details: the item, the price you paid, and the city and state of the store.
What we do:
- Every correction report gets reviewed
- Clear errors are corrected promptly, usually within a few business days
- Where a report conflicts with our existing data, we look for a second confirmation before changing a figure — one store's price isn't necessarily the national typical price
- If we disagree with a reported correction, we'll reply and explain why
- Typos and formatting fixes are made without a note
8. Editorial commentary
Alongside the data, we publish opinion — what to order first, which sizes are worth it, how Culver's compares on price to other chains. That commentary is written from real ordering experience and is clearly our own view, not a claim of fact.
We don't accept payment to recommend an item, and no restaurant, franchise, or brand has any input into what we write.
9. Advertising independence
- Advertisers have no influence over our content, our price figures, or our editorial opinions
- Ad networks select which ads appear; we don't curate them, and their presence is not an endorsement
- We do not accept payment from any restaurant chain for coverage or placement
- If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labelled clearly at the top of the page
10. Our independence from Culver's
We are not Culver's, we don't work with Culver's, and we receive nothing from Culver's. That independence is why we can tell you the Triple is more beef than most people finish, and that the site's own gluten-free situation is a hard pass if you're celiac.
See our Trademark & Affiliation Notice for the full statement.
11. What we won't publish
- Content copied or spun from other menu sites
- Prices scraped from a competitor's page and reprinted
- Fabricated "insider" claims about corporate plans
- Health or dietary claims we're not qualified to make
- Anything designed to mislead a reader about what something costs
